Description
02/27/26 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1943. The rifle is well-worn. The receiver has a faded grey finish with a small crater of surface pitting towards the front of the receiver. The receiver within the stock has pitting on both sides, as well as the clip latch. The stock is an arsenal replacement but good shape overall. This is a spot filled in towards the comb on the left side. The forward handguard has a 2" crack. The buttstock is stamped with a boxed SA. The bore has a slight brightness with visible rifling, but there is corrosion and pitting visible throughout, and the last 2 inches of the muzzle has close to 0 rifling. The muzzle erosion is greater than our gauge maximum of 11 and throat erosion is 8.5. The internals are a mix of Springfield part variations.
