Description

8/20/25 - For sale is a Springfield M1D Sniper that was built using a receiver from 1944. The rifle was rebuilt in 1952 and has a 52 dated barrel. The receiver has a bright parkerized finish while the barrel shows wear and is turning light grey. The stock has been lightly sanded sometime in the past. The Springfield Inspection stamp is faint. The boxed SA stamp under the cheekrest is fairly sharp. The bore is bright with good rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is 6 and the throat erosion is 5. The rifle comes in a CMP Hard case.
