11/24/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine made in 1883. The carbine has a grey-brown finish on the metal. The stock is in great shape without any cracks or breaks, but has been sanded. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling, but pitting is visible in the last 4 inches of the muzzle. The rear sight is marked with the carbine "C". The action functions properly.
