Description
11/24/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor rifle chambered in .45-70 government. The rifle metal has worn down to a bare finish with light surface oxidation. Towards the muzzle is shallow pitting. The stock has been sanded but free of any cracks. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling but there is visible oxidation and shallow pitting. Still safe to shoot in our opinion. The action functions properly with a crisp trigger. Ramrod is absent.
