12/10/25 - For sale is a nice Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor chambered in .45-70. The metal on the rifle is well aged and there are patches of oxidation on the trapdoor and lockplate. The barrel retains its original bluing but patina and oxidation throughout. The stock has numbers dings but in good shape overall. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Cleaning rod/ramrod is absent. Comes with a socket bayonet with surface oxidation. on the blade.
