Description
1/14/26 - This is an excellent example of an original and correct Ithaca M1911A1 that was manufactured in 1943. The finish is all original and rates at roughly 97% with minor high edge wear at the front edges of the slide and frame, and a spot of wear along the top of the slide. Correct parts throughout, including an original Hi Standard barrel. Bore is shiny with strong rifling, showing only minor signs of use and very light frosting in the grooves. Late Keyes grips with reinforcing rings are in very good condition, though there is a gouge in one of the rings. The listing includes a total of three original WW2 magazines (Risdon, 2 Scovill), as well as an original mag pouch and shoulder holster. The mag pouch is somewhat worn and the inkstamp on the back has faded. The shoulder holster is an Enger-Kress produced example that is worn in but has no major defects or tears. Good mechanically.
