3/16/26- For sale is a pair of tinted Luftwaffe flight goggles. This particular model is known as Splitterschutzbrille Fl. 30550 D. Two variations of these goggles were made, one with a solid frame and one with a hinged frame, both available with either clear or tinted lenses. This is the hinged model. There is very gentle expected wear on the plastic frame but no cracking or deep scrapes. The lenses are intact and firmly seated in the frame. The elastic headband is intact and functional. The goggles also come with a photocopied page from a reference book describing the history and variants of the goggles. Overall in excellent condition.
