Description

4/13/26- For sale is a very nice traditionally made Japanese sword from the WW2 period. The blade is handmade in the traditional style and has the distinctive subtle waves and layers in the metal. The blade has no wear, rust, patina, or blade chips. The guard is solid brass and the handle is traditionally wrapped over a layer of roughly textured leather. The scabbard is bamboo with a metal throat and leather cover, a pattern typically seen for wartime service in WW2. The tang is marked and a small tag attached says "Kato Jumyo Saku Shindei Mo Mata Koku On". Overall in excellent condition.
