Description
3/30/26- For sale are two very rare and early boxes of 8mm Kurz ammo marked for the MP43. The iconic StG44 is often called the first modern assault rifle and several variants were developed over time, reflecting further refinement and development of the design. The earliest of these variants to see combat service was the MP43, before it was updated to the MP44, and then again to the StG44. This ammo marked for MP43 is therefore some of the very earliest assault rifle ammo ever produced and reflects the interesting history of the StG44 design. Each box contains 20 rounds on four 5-round stripper clips. The strippers themselves are corroded but the rounds are generally free from corrosion, although there are some spots of light corrosion or patina on some of the rounds. The cardboard packaging is fully intact and the labels are clear and readable, indicating packaging dates in 1944. Overall in very good condition and a rare find!
