Unmarked WWII Heer Officer's Dress Dagger and Hanger

9/25/25 - This is an original, WWII-era Heer officer's Dress Dagger. The dagger is in great overall condition. The blade has some mild freckling in areas, and some light scabbard rub wear. No signs of sharpening, but it has been lightly buffed. Original leather stopper is intact. The eagle cross guard is in good condition, with some high edge wear and darkening within the deeper grooves. There is no wiggle or play on the cross guard, and the handle/pommel are also secure and tight. No cracks or chips in the handle. The pommel has some discoloration in a couple areas, but is mostly excellent. Comes with an original scabbard, which has spots of oxidation and small but somewhat deep dings throughout. Also includes original hanger and Portepee, which are both in fair condition with areas of wear throughout.
