Description
7/25/25 - This is a collection of documentation in regards to the promotions of German Naval personnel in WW2.
The first document here is a promotion document for Arnold Triebel to Chief-of-Staff signed by Commander-in-Chief of the Kriegsmarine, Erich Raeder. Another document is a second promotional document for Arnold Triebel promoting him to Administrative Councilor of Navy High Command effective August 1941 signed by Commander-in-Chief of the Kriegsmarine, Erich Raeder. The third document regrading Triebel includes information on the salary regarding his new appointment. Also included is a period photograph of German Navy Commander-in-Chief, Erich Raeder, inspecting troops. Writing on the back of the photograph seems to date the picture to January 14th, 1942. Another document in this collection serves as a decoration for Lt. Otto Bost who served on a Heavy Cruiser class vessel named "Deutschland". This vessel is known to have participated in the German invasion of Norway and later fought in the Battle of Barents Sea. She was sunk in shallow waters by the RAF in April 1945 and was then used as a stationary gunship until May of 1945 when her crew disbanded. The document is in excellent shape with very light wear. The signatures at the bottom of the document are believed to be autopen. Comes in a folder with a golden national eagle and swastika. There is some very slight wear on the edges of all documents. All documents come in one of two large folders with a golden national eagle on the front.
