Vintage German Kartenwunder Road Map

Description

12/19/25- For sale is a vintage German "Karten-Wunder" road map. The map is a solid black plastic case with foldable map sections inside that are revealed by pulling down on tabs on the side of the device to reveal the desired section. Some of the folded paper sections inside the mechanism have come loose from where they were glued or attached, causing some sections of the map to not slide or unfold properly. The cardboard pull tabs and the black Bakelite frame are all intact with no significant damage. The bottom of the frame says "Karten-Wunder", roughly translated to "Magic Map" and the top says "Automobil-Karte 1939" or "Car Map 1939". Overall in very good condition.
