Description

3/20/26- For sale is a US WWI cavalry holster and belt. The holster resembles the standard 1911 holster but the backing is attached to a swivel so the holster can be adjusted while mounted on horseback. There is significant wear on the holster but no serious damage or tearing to the leather. The back of the holster is stamped "US" but the date stamp is worn off. There are stampings on the flap of the holster that appear to say "HD TP CAV", which may indicate Headquarters Troop of a specific cavalry unit. The leg tie is intact. The holster is hooked to a canvas garrison belt with an eagle clasp. The belt has numerous faded ink stamps but no tears or large stains. Overall in good condition.
