Description

3/19/26- For sale is a WWI era US 1917 pattern helmet. These helmets were functionally identical to British Brodie pattern helmets. The helmet exterior is painted a standard brown with the slightly textured sandy finish. There is light wear and patina but no serious damage. The helmet interior is painted the same color without the exterior texturing. The helmet liner is original and significantly aged, including the leather liner, yarn webbing, and leather chinstrap. The edge of the rim is stamped "ZJ256". ZJ corresponds to Columbian Enamelling & Stamping Co. Overall in excellent condition.
