Description

9/26/25 - This is a German WWII Army ration grain sack made of heavy burlap. It measures about 35in by 27in when laid flat. Designed for transporting grain, it bears a 1942 stencil marked “H. Vpfl.” (Heeres Verpflegung, meaning “Army Rations”) on one side and a large Wehrmacht eagle on the other. The sack remains in great condition for its age, with only light fading to the markings. There are some areas of yellow staining/discoloration, and some minor fraying along some of the edges.
