Description
1/4/23 - This is a WW1 production Luger holster that we believe was likely modified during the Weimar era for police use. The holster is maker stamped and dated on the interior leather with a faint maker stamp, and what appears to be a 1918 date. The leather is soft and pliable with significant surface wear and scuffing on the toe and magazine pouch. The toe has a small hole in the leather as well. The top leather also has a circular blemish, but this isn't a hole that goes completely through the leather. The inteiror leather has been modified for a cleaning rod, similar to K Date holsters. The stitching is all original except on the back belt loops, and there are a few missing stitches at the toe of the holster. The back leather is LZA distributor stamped. The front leather is unit stamped, which we believe is likely Weimar police.Specifications
