Description
1/10/23 - This is an original WW2 production Type 30 bayonet by Toyoda Automatic Loom Works under Nagoya supervision (TALW). The bayonet is known as a variation 1 LB 145 (from Raymond Labar's book). The blade is blued and unfullered (slab side). Most of the original finish is in tact, but there is some finish loss, mostly along the edge, as well as a few dark areas of surface patina. Maker stamped on one side of the ricasso as shown. The cross guard and pommel are in great shape with mild surface patina and natural aging. The wood grips have some mild surface scratches but no major issues. Comes with a nice metal scabbard that has traces of olive "field green" paint, but is mostly dark with surface patina. Great overall condition.Specifications
