1/14/25 - This is a fair example of a U.S. WW1 Victory medal. The medal itself, the clasps and the fastener are in good condition and have a nice patina. The hanger on this medal is in fair condition having tears and damage throughout. This medal would be a great candidate for a replacement ribbon which are readily available. This medal includes the clasps for the Meuse-Argonne, the Oise-Aisne, and the Defensive Sector. The defensive sector clasps were awarded for for any battle or action that was not recognized by the other clasps. In total the U.S. Army had 13 battle clasps during WW1.
