SOLD - Late WW2 Type 30 Bayonet (011722-22)

Description

1/19/22 - This is a late WW2 production Japanese Type 30 Arisaka bayonet. The bayonet has a very nice blued blade that shows light sharpening throughout the blade edge. There are small spots of finish loss throughout the blade as well. The base of the blade is maker stamped as shown. The wood grips are in good condition with no major cracks or chips. There's dark patina throughout the metal hand guard and pommel. The sheath is made of bamboo wood, and has a few small cracks. The most significant crack extends from the mouth along the spine of the sheath. There's surface wear throughout but the sheath is in tact. Shows late-war rushed, crude production features throughout.
