Description

1/24/23 - This is an original Type 30 Arisaka bayonet made by Toyoda Automatic Loom Works. The bayonet is a late WW2 production with late-war features such as a squared pommel, rectangular cross guard, and unfullered blade. The blade is excellent with very nice original finish mostly intact. There's mild surface patina and light finish loss mostly near the tip. No signs of sharpening. The wood handles and pommel are excellent. Comes with a late-war bamboo scabbard that has mild surface wear throughout but no major cracks or chips. Variation J LB 149 in Labar's book.
