Description

1/30/25 - This is a rare example of a WW1 trench knife. The knife is French made by Au Lion, a company outsourced by the U.S. to help production demand for these fighting knives. The knife comes with the original metal scabbard which has both of its' belt hooks still intact - another fairly rare find. The scabbard retains some of its original finish, and has no major dents. The blade is in excellent condition with light signs of sharpening. Minimal patina / wear on the blade. No issues with the handle. Stamped with the maker stamp "AU LION" on one side.
