2/7/25 - This is a good example of a 1914 dated cavalry holster for a M1911 Colt pistol. The holster is in good condition and complete with attached belt hooks and swivel. The leather hanger is maker stamped "Springfield" and dated. There's some light surface cracking and light abrasion wear throughout. The leather is still soft and pliable. The leg strap is still attached and in good shape. The Inside of the holster is marked with the initials "JLL". The holsters brass closure knob has broken off from the holster, but is still present. The stitching on the holster is in good condition and is still strong.
