Description
7/30/24 - This is an M2 Paratrooper Knife manufactured by Schrade and issued to the U.S. military during WWII. Clip point blade with ricasso marked, "Schrade CUT CO. Walden N.Y." on one side and "US Pats Dec 29.09, Sept 13.10, June 6.16" on the other. Patented push button locking mechanism functions perfectly. Blade has been well maintained, but note it that has been sharpened lightly to retain a razor sharp edge. Bone grip panels have minimal wear, but no major issues. Blade's length is approx. 3 1/4 inches, total length approx. 7 1/4 inches. These were placed in hidden compartments within paratrooper uniforms and were designed for easy access to cut the cord upon landing.Specifications
