SOLD - Painted Luftwaffe M35 Helmet

2/25/20 - This is an original, early WW2 variation M35 luftwaffe helmet. The helmet has been painted light brown on the exterior, as shown in photos. The luftwaffe decal is missing, but the shadow or outline of the decal still shows. The shield decal on the opposite side is in tact. The paint on the exterior looks old, and shows signs of aging, but we're not holster experts so we can't say it's original paint with certainty. The interior of the helmet is lot numbered 3658 with "ET 64" as the maker code and size. The interior leather liner is completely in tact, and the leather shows typical wear along the edge, with no serious cracking or damage. The interior crown of the helmet has an ink marking that is hard to read, but appears to be something along the lines of "I./ Flaterg. 10". Not sure what this means, but the helmet does seem all original - please see photos!
