SOLD - German M35 Heer Double Decal Helmet

5/9/25 - This is a German M35 Heer Double Decal Helmet that has undergone partial restoration. The shell itself is believed to be original and is marked "E.T. 66" with lot number “3284” inside the rear skirt, identifying it as a product of Eisenhüttenwerke Thale. The helmet has been repainted in a dark field gray/green tone that approximates the correct wartime shade. The decals—an early-style German tri-color shield on the left and a Heer eagle on the right—have been reapplied. The liner is a postwar reproduction in unworn condition, stamped size "58", and includes a reproduction chinstrap. There is a dated acceptance stamp on the inside dome reading “Abgenommen II 1942 Beschaffungsamt für Heer und Marine,” though this appears to be a reproduction ink stamp. Overall, while the helmet shell is authentic, the paint, decals, liner, and chinstrap are reproduction components, making this an affordable option for display or reenactment purposes.
