SOLD - RZM SS Dagger (030524-1)

Description

3/5/24 - This is an original SS Dagger with a RZM maker marking and contract number. The blade on this example is very clean and excellent overall with some mild surface scratching and scabbard wear. There's a few small specks of discoloration, but this is very mild. The cross graining is visible throughout the blade. One side of the blade shows the SS motto, and the reverse is RZM maker and contract numbered. First is M7/68 for Lauterjung & Co. Underneath this is "RZM 1316/40SS" for contract number 1316 in 1940. The contracts go up to 1317, so this is likely a late 1940 production. The fittings are nickel with some mild surface patina and typical signs of aging. The wood grip is excellent with no chips or cracks. Comes with an excellent scabbard that has minimal paint loss and no dents.
