SOLD - US M3 Case Knife with M6 Scabbard (030623-12)

3/13/23 - This is an original WW2 production US M3 Case Fighting Knife with a leather M6 Scabbard by Viner Bros. The blade has been refinished, but is blade marked as shown. There's no signs of sharpening, but there are some areas of surface pitting near the edge and along the back spine of the blade. The most pitting is found near the tip. There's surface patina throughout the blade, most of which was blued over when this was refinished, but some of the refinish has worn as well. The crossguard has mild play and wiggle as the leather handle does have some very minor looseness between straps of compressed leather. The pommel has surface pitting throughout. The M6 leather scabbard has a nice maker stamp on the front and all original stitching intact. One of the metal rivets is loose and missing from the back of the scabbard. The leather is in great overall condition. Priced based on condition.
