SOLD - 1916 Luger Holster (030724-24)

5/3/24 - This is a near-excellent condition Luger holster made in 1916, during WW1. Considering the age of this piece and most other examples on the market, many would rate this as excellent. The holster features all original leather and stitching, and is maker and date stamped on the back leather, between the belt loops. The markings are crisp and legible. The exterior leather has a few mild blemishes and wrinkling near the back toe, but the leather is strong with normal pliability throughout. Retains shape nicely. The interior leather is clean with light signs of use and age. There are no stitching issues and all stitching is tight. The front toe has two loose stitches, but there is no leather separation nor does this affect structural integrity (an overall non-issue). Shown in the first photo.
