SOLD - Imperial M3 Knife with M8 Scabbard

3/24/23 - This is an original US M3 fighting knife with a period correct, early variation M8 scabbard. The blade is an earlier style with a "US M3 Imperial" maker stamp, and no other markings except for an ordnance stamp on the pommel. There is surface scratching and dark patina throughout the blade, with some small areas of minor pitting near the tip. The crossguard has very minor wiggle but the leather handle is firm and secure. There's typical surface patina and natural aging throughout the handle, crossguard, and pommel. The scabbard is in great condition with an early short-style canvas frog. The closure button is rusted and broken.
