Description

3/24/20 - This is an original, near mint and matching K98 bayonet with a matching numbered scabbard. Interestingly, the blade is '43 dated and the scabbard is '44 dated. This is seldom seen, but a known variation coming out of the "asw" factory. The blade is in minty condition with barely any wear or signs of use. The red bakelite handle is also excellent, although there is some patina on the pommel. The scabbard has excellent bluing, but there is some light patina throughout, and some surface wear on both sides. No dents or major flaws.
