Description

This is a Luftwaffe Paratrooper Badge from WW2. This medal is in excellent overall condition with a nearly flawless gold-wash finish on the diving eagle accompanied by minimal edge wear on the surrounding wreath pattern. This two-piece medal is maker stamped by "HANS GNAD" and has a functional, smooth closure pin in excellent overall condition. The maker is from Austria, and to our knowledge did not make these medals during WW2. So although this looks like an original we have serious doubts.
