SOLD - Italian Officer MVSN Dagger with Hanger

3/29/23 - This is an original Italian Officer's MVSN Knife with an original scabbard and hanger. These were meant to be used as both a dress dagger and a combat fighting knife for the Italian Fascist Militia during the 1930s. The blade is shiny, nickel plated steel that's in excellent overall condition. There's some mild surface scratches on the scabbard and some mild patina on the ricasso, but no signs of sharpening and overall has a clean and shiny look. The aluminum handle has very light play or wiggle on the blade, likely from the brass screw being removed previously. The handle is in great condition however, with no major issues and a nice bronze fasces insignia and eagle's head pommel. The scabbard has most of the finish missing and a clean steel appearance remains. No dents or major issues, and an original hanger is still attached. The hanger is excellent with strong, clean leather and a brass "M" insignia at the top. The brass belt clip has a bronze gilt eagle that shows mild surface patina.
