Description
4/7/20 - This is an original WW2 dress bayonet given for memory of honorable service. One side of the blade roughly translates to "in honor of my service". The engraving is excellent, and crisp with no notable wear. The reverse engraving is likely a custom engraving done by the soldier who was awarded this bayonet, or by his regiment as a gift. The engraving is likely done by Peter Kolb - as marked on one side of the blade. The blade is very shiny and excellent. The original red felt and leather stopper are excellent as well. The bayonet has some paint loss, as shown in photos. There is some wrinkling in the frog as well. The frog is overall excellent though with a maker stamp on the back but it's a very poor stamp.Specifications
