Description

4/11/22 - This is an original 1943 dated K98 bayonet with the original matching numbered scabbard. The bayonet also comes with an attached leather frog, which is maker stamped and 1942 dated on the reverse. The blade has excellent bluing throughout and is well marked on the ricasso with a maker code and date stamp, as well as a serial number. The wood handles are excellent as well. The metal portion of the hilt has some light surface patina throughout but no excessive wear. The scabbard has dark patina throughout but no dents.
