Description

4/21/25 - This is a beautiful Samuel Colt Texas Paterson Revolver made by the US Historical Society in 1989. One of only 1,000 made - this one is number 12. It is an exact reproduction of the Paterson pistol made by the Samuel Colt Patent Arms Manufacturing Co in Paterson, New Jersey, from 1837 to 1840 and used by the Texas Rangers. It is beautifully engraved with a high polish blued finish and case-hardening on the small parts. There are virtually no signs of use, but there is spotty discoloration along the left side of the gun from sitting in the case. Fitted with mother or pearl grips. It comes in a really nice velvet-line wood presentation case with its original extras, white gloves, and a magazine article about the US Historical Society Samuel Colt Texas Patterson. Mint bore. The wood case has a few noticeable cracks in the lid. Black powder only, so no FFL required.
