SOLD - USN Mk V Dive Knife - Morse Diving Equipment

4/18/23 - This is an original US Navy WW2 Diving knife. Made by Morse Diving Equipment, and known as the Mark V diving knife, which accompanied the Mark V diving helmet. Purposefully weighted to help divers sink underwater. The knife features a 6 7/8th inch blade that's serrated on one edge. Very clean overall, but there's some mild surface speckling on either side of the blade. The non-serrated edge has been sharpened and there are very mild signs of previous use. The wood handle has no cracks or chips and is excellent overall. The scabbard is brass and in excellent condition with a maker stamp near the mouth as shown. Comes with an attached leather hanger in minty condition.
