Description

5/1/24 - This is an early example of a 4-screw Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver from 1861. All matching and in fair condition for its age. There is "attic patina" and minor pitting throughout. The original naval engagement scene on the cylinder is mostly worn but still barely visible. Nice period-correct wood grips. The bore has great rifling for its age, but there is spotty surface oxidation throughout. Fully functional.
