SOLD - Luftwaffe Gravity Knife (050521-26)

Description

5/6/21 - This is an original WW2 production Luftwaffe Gravity Knife. The blade is in excellent condition with no signs of sharpening and is maker marked by Paul Weyersberg & Co. The maker marking is a little faint but still visible. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. There's a luftwaffe eagle/5 proof stamp on the base of the spike. The handle and side bar are both matching numbered 76. The only takeaway from this piece is the blade falls out slightly even when in the locked position. See the last photo for just how much it comes out on its' own. When fully extended, the blade does stay out and locked properly however.
