SOLD - RARE Japanese Type 99 4x Adj. Sniper Scope

5/27/20 - This is an original Type 99 4x sniper rifle scope from WW2. This scope is extremely rare because it is the late war style with 3 external adjustments that allowed for "zero-ing" of windage and elevation. These scopes were only made by two companies, NTC Kogaku and Tokyo Shibaura Electric Co. This scope has been designated No. 17593, which is the contract number for Tokyo Shibaura made in late 1944. There are only about 50 reported 4x externally adjustable scopes known today. This scope is in nearly unissued condition and shows late war castings. The optics are clear and excellent. Reticle is crisp as well. Original rubber eye cap is still in tact and the black painted finish is excellent throughout the scope.
