Description

6/5/23 - This is an original photo of 101st Airborne soldier Carl William Kohls. The photo was taken in 1952, after Kohls' service during WW2. Accompanying this photo is a letter to the Allied Expeditionary Force, and some French marks. There's also some documentation showing who Carl Kohls was, when he was born and died, etc. He is noted as Assistant Chief of Staff G-4 on September 15, 1943 and was particularly crucial during the crisis at Bastogne.
