Description
6/8/22 - This is an original WW2 production British Smatchet fighting knife. These blades were made for combat as a cross between a machete and a bolo. These were originally used by the British during WW1, and were used by British and American special forces during WW2. This example is in excellent condition with an unmarked blade. There's some mild surface patina and light surface scratches on both sides of the blade. The pommel is stamped with a broad arrow / 6 British proof. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The canvas scabbard is also excellent with a 1942 date in ink on the back.Specifications
