Description

6/11/20 - This is a scarce 1939 dated R.F.V. marked K98 rifle bayonet with matching numbered scabbard and leather frog. The blade is maker stamped by F. Herder, and in minty condition. There's almost no wear at all on the blade and the bluing is excellent. The hand guard and pommel have some light spots of rust. More serious rust is found on the scabbard, which also has light denting. The leather frog is in great condition with some light leather wrinkling. The frog, scabbard, and bayonet are all 1939 dated and properly waffen proof stamped on the scabbard and bayonet.
