Description
6/16/23 - This is an Egyptian Hakim Air Training Rifle made by Anschutz in the 1950's. The air rifle has an underlever single action based on the BSA Airsporter of 1947. The action is smooth and fully functional, with the loading tap in the top of the receiver automatically opening when the lever is fully cocked. However, due to this style of action it's very difficult to get a good look down the bore, and we therefore have no bore rating. We assume the condition (and from what little we can see) is very good overall and similar to the exterior condition. The metal rates around 85% with a dull parkerized finish that shows mild surface patina and typical edge wear from use and handling. The wood stock has a few mild bumps and bruises and two minor chips in the wood. The first is along the edge of the channel in the underside for the cocking lever. The second is at the base of the pistol grip or neck of the rifle. Both chips are minor and shouldn't affect functionality. Based on our research we found this takes a .22 caliber pellet.Specifications
