Description

6/23/22 - This is an original WW1 production M1911 pistol holster. The holster is in good overall condition despite some exterior wear to the leather. The front leather has a line of surface cracking just above the "US" stamp. There's also some surface cracking along the right edge of the leather. The leather is firm overall and slightly rigid. The metal insert for the lanyard loop is missing, and there are three missing stitches on the back leather, but the rest of the stitching is in tact. Maker stamped and dated on the back as shown.
