Description
8/27/24 - This is a mint example of a Union Fork & Hoe M1 Garand bayonet that was cut down. These bayonets were originally 1905 pattern bayonets that were cut down to 10 inches for use in WW2. This bayonet maintains almost all of its original finish with only slight thinning in the finish on the high spots. This wear is characteristic of normal use from the scabbard. The blade maintains its original edge and the makers stamp and ordinance stamps are strong and easily legible. The scabbard has no flaws and is in mint condition as well.Specifications
