6/30/23 - This is an original 1918 dated pistol holster from WW1. The holster is likely for a Mauser model 1910 or model 1914, based on the size, but any similar sized pistol would also be appropriate. The holster is in very good overall condition with normal pliability and light surface wear throughout the exterior. There are some extra stitching holes inside the magazine pouch, which suggests that the mag pouch has been modified post-factory in some way (we're not sure). The stitching is excellent and original throughout the holster.
