Description

7/6/18 - This is an original 1st model Luftwaffe dagger. Maker stamped by E. & F. Horster. This blade has beautiful aluminum fittings - both with gold colored swastika emblems. The pommel wiggles lightly on the handle.This is not too uncommon of a flaw. The handle shows signs of being held / aging but is completely in tact and still in good shape. The blade is mostly clean but there is some spotty patina in a few areas. Most of this is very light spotting. The scabbard is excellent but there is some minor cracking on the leather down the left side (very minor , single crack is really just the seam in the leather). The chain and hanger are excellent and original. Hanger is maker stamped. Guaranteed original.
