6/30/22 - This is an original 1937 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster has a somewhat unusual eagle stamp on the front leather. The stamp appears original and aged, but we haven't seen other examples of this stamp on similar holsters, so we're not sure what to make of this marking. The back leather has a maker stamp and date stamp that are very faint. Only the "HANS" portion of the maker is legible without magnification. The waffen proof stamp is struck much more strongly into the leather. The leather has normal pliability and signs of aging throughout. The lift strap is missing. No notable stitching flaws.
