SOLD - M34 Converted Police Double Decal Helmet

7/6/22 - This is an original WW2 M34 German helmet. The helmet was originally issued to the Fire Department, but was later converted for police use. The old "comb" on the top of the helmet shell has thus been removed, and three "plugs" cover the holes from the comb attachment. The helmet shell ahs some patina and spotty discoloration; typical signs of aging wear. The two external decals are in excellent condition and very crisp. There is some mild surface rust and patina throughout the interior shell as well. The interior leather liner is worn but still completely in tact with a "54" size ink stamp. The leather chin strap is original and attached as well.
