SOLD - Cased Luftwaffe Radio Operator and Air Gunner Badge by Juncker

7/14/23 - This is an original WW2 Luftwaffe Radio Operator & Air Gunner Badge by Juncker. The badge comes in the original case and is in great overall condition. The badge is completely non-magnetic tombac construction with two piece design. The eagle has traces of the dark colored finish still intact, but there's natural patina and normal high edge wear throughout the many fine details. The wreath is finished in silver, with mild edge wear as shown. The reverse shows two attachment rivets on each of the eagle wings, a Juncker maker stamp, and the original fastening pin. The hook is slightly bent but still intact and original. The case is in great condition. The eagle wingspan is 42mm. Length from base of the swastika to the top of the wreath is 52.5mm. The wreath width is about 40.5mm. Weighs 38 grams.
